Privacy.

The short version

We use what you share, and what you do on this site, to run the lodge, answer you, and show our ads to people likely to enjoy a stay. We never sell your information. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe.

What we collect

• When you book: Hospitable, our booking system, handles your reservation and payment. We receive your name, email, stay dates and what you paid. We never see your card number.
• When you sign up: your email (and your stay dates for a waitlist) for the Dells guide, the lodge list, or news of an open weekend.
• At the lodge: if you sign in to the guest Wi-Fi (StayFi), your name, email and phone, and the stay it was during.
• Reviews: what you write, your rating, the name you choose to show, and the month you stayed.
• On this site: the pages you visit and the booking steps you take (opening the calendar, picking dates, seeing a price, clicking Reserve), with a random visitor ID stored in your browser, the ad or link that brought you, and your approximate city from your connection. We don't store your IP address.

Cookies and ad tools

When they're switched on, the site uses Google Analytics, the Google Ads tag and the Meta Pixel. They tell us which ads lead to bookings, and let Google and Meta show our ads to people who visited this site or resemble our guests. You can limit this in your browser, through Google's ad settings and Meta's ad preferences, or with a Global Privacy Control signal.

Who we share with

• Service providers that run the site and the lodge for us: Hospitable (bookings), Vercel and Neon (hosting and database), Resend (email), StayFi (guest Wi-Fi), Stripe (payments, through Hospitable).
• Google and Meta: the booking steps above, and for ad audiences, lists of guest and subscriber emails, encrypted (hashed) before they're sent.
• The law: when we're legally required to.

We don't sell or rent personal information.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom.
• Ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to stop using it for ads, by replying to any email from us.
• Reviews you wrote can be removed on request.

How long we keep it

Booking records as long as the law requires for taxes. Sign-ups until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Site activity for up to two years.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this notice changes, we'll update the date above.
